Volunteers make events like the Pilliga Ultra possible!
Pilliga Ultra is a small, grassroots event that relies on volunteers to bring it to life.
As the event is over three days and encompasses a large, remote area of the Pilliga Forest we are going to need a bunch of volunteers to make this event as fun and safe for everyone as possible. To do this, we’ll need approximately 30 volunteers.
If you’d be willing to give between 4 – 8 hours over the event weekend (Friday, Saturday or Sunday), then we’d love to hear from you! If you’re entering one of the events, you could even volunteer on your non-race day. Prior to the event, we will hold an online briefing for all volunteers.
Volunteer Roles
What can I expect in return for my time?
When you sign up for shifts using the Volunteer Signup form, each shift is allocated a ‘credit’. Depending on the total number of shifts you do as a volunteer, you will receive different compensation for your time, effort, and enthusiasm.
Every volunteer will be provided with an exclusive event volunteer tee shirt and lunch and snacks on the day. We will also ensure you are fully informed and know what to do with an allocated team leader to supervise you on the day and any equipment needed for your role.
